2009-10 Program Highlights
- Coronado School of the Arts (grades 9-12) a pre-professional arts program at Coronado High School that includes the following conservatories: Classical and Contemporary Dance; Digital Media and Filmmaking; Instrumental Music; Musical Theatre and Drama; and Visual Art
- Village Elementary School and Strand Elementary School (grades 1-6) Instrumental Music pullout program and visual and performing art specialist instruction
- Coronado Middle School (grades 6-8) Instrumental Music and Choral Music programs; Visual Art classes; Performing Arts program; and KCMS Video program.
- Palm Academy (Grades 10-12) arts integrated into the curriculum; mosaic project in 2008-08; Digital Media project in 2008-09.
- Coronado High School (grades 9-12) Instrumental Music and Choral Music programs; Dance classes; Visual Art, Beginning, Advanced, Portfolio, AP Studio Art; Ceramics: Beginning and Advanced
- Coronado High School awarded Career Technical Award 2007 (only three awarded in California).
- Coronado High School awarded California Distinguished School in 2007.
- Coronado High School awarded No Child Left Behind National Blue Ribbon Award in Oct. 2008.
