2009-10 Program Highlights
As a small school district we are proud to have the visual and performing arts be such a strong part of our identity and curriculum. Our District Strategic Plan emphasizes arts education. As a natural growth from the Strategic Plan, the Jamul Arts and Music Council (JAM) was created. JAM’s mission is to support the funding of arts in our schools and to bring the arts to our community. Each spring JAM hosts a golf tournament to raise funds for our programs. The programs we offer to our students are listed below.

Visual Art
Visual Art: add all K-5 teachers are being trained in VAPA standards this year
PTA/PTSA Reflections Art Contests and Shows
6th and 8th Grade Visual Arts in Explorative Wheel Classes
Annual All District Art Show in the Spring

Music
