Goals for 2008-2009 School Year
- Create a strategic plan for arts education for every child, every day, in every JCCS school.
- Develop a cadre of 25 teachers to begin a four-year cycle of capacity building standards based professional development in dance, music, theatre and visual art.
- Sustain the original cadre while adding a new cadre of 25 teachers each year to build arts capacity.
- Work with VAPA Standards 101 workshops, The California Arts Project and California State University San Marcos to build powerful partnerships for sustained professional development.
