California Educational Theatre Association

The California Educational Theatre Association represents educators in pre-kindergarten through university. The Web site provides information and resources for advocacy, conferences, workshops, festivals, and special events to strengthen local administrative support for theatre, enrich curriculum, enhance classroom teaching/learning techniques, promote research and scholarship, and refine educational production practices.

California Music Educators Association

CMEA membership is open to all music educators working in public and private schools, colleges and universities in California, and the organization works to promote access to a sequential music education for all pre-K through grade 12 students taught by fully-qualified music educators; support and improve existing music programs, promote quality pre-service and in-service music teacher preparation programs, and create a greater awareness of the value of music education through partnerships with other associations and advocacy among state and local agencies.

The San Diego County Office of Education Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Department supports school districts in designing and implementing comprehensive, standards-based arts education programs in and with the arts -dance, music, theatre, and the visual arts - for all students, pre-K through grade 12.
