2009-10 Program Highlights

• Secondary VAPA programs include: middle and high school music programs (including jazz, digital music and music appreciation courses), theatre, chorus, dance, dance production, sculpture, drawing and painting, ceramics, jewelry design, AP Art History, and AP Studio Arts.
  
  
• District commitment to vertical teaming, articulation and professional development for all secondary VAPA programs.  Our VAPA teams meet bimonthly to discuss curriculum and instruction issues and ideas.
  
  
• District fiscal support for the purchase and repair of musical instruments, expansion and implementation of  state of the art technology, and ongoing professional development.
