Vallecitos School District has been a part of the San Diego Arts Network for two years now. Being part of the network has provided our small district the contacts and resources needed to help our arts program develop and grow. We are in our third year of developing our arts program, and we are very proud of what we have achieved thus far.

2007-08 Program Highlights

1. Our district has developed and implemented standards in the disciplines of Theatre and Visual Art.
2. Music standards are under development and will be implemented next year, and Dance standards are planned for next year as well.
3. Since the arts program has been in place, our test scores have shown great improvement and we have surpassed our target growth every year.
